Hair has been my passion for 28 years, and I still get excited every time a client sees their new look in the mirror.
I’m Lisa Lehman Zimmer. In 2013 I opened Privato Salon and Spa here in Bakersfield. When COVID hit, I made a big decision: I closed the full salon and reinvented it as Privato Hair Studio, a private studio with a more personal feel.
I’m L’Oréal Balayage Certified (2015) and a former Network Educator for Bumble and bumble. I love every part of what I do, from soft, lived-in balayage and dimensional blonding to precision cuts that grow out beautifully. I’m always taking classes, because this industry never stands still, and neither do I.
I’ll always tell you the truth about what will look best on your hair, even if that means doing less. I stand behind my work, and if anything isn’t quite right, you have a week to come back so I can make it perfect.
