Welcome to Privato Hair Studio. By using this website, booking an appointment, or receiving services at our studio, you agree to these terms.

1. Who We Are

Privato Hair Studio is a private hair studio owned and operated by Lisa Lehman, located at 212 Coffee Rd., Suite 206, Studio 110, Bakersfield, CA 93309.

2. Booking Appointments

Appointments can be booked online through Vagaro or by text. Online booking is offered for convenience, and your appointment is confirmed only once you receive a confirmation. We may adjust or reschedule an appointment if the service booked doesn't match the time or work your hair needs.

3. Pricing

All prices on our service menu are "starting at" prices. Your final price depends on your hair's length, thickness, condition, and the time and product required. We're happy to give you an estimate during your consultation, before any work begins. Prices may change without notice.

4. Consultations and Patch Tests

Please tell us about any allergies, sensitivities, scalp conditions, medications, or recent chemical services (including box dye) before your service. We may require a consultation or patch test before color, lightening, or chemical services, and we may decline a service that we believe could damage your hair or isn't safe for you.

5. Cancellations and No-Shows

All cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations and no-shows are subject to a fee of half the service amount. Arriving late may mean a shortened service or rescheduling so the next guest isn't delayed.

6. Service Guarantee and Refunds

We stand behind our work. If you're not happy with your service, please contact us within 7 days and we'll make it right at no additional charge. We do not offer refunds for services.

7. Retail Products

Unused retail products can be returned within 7 days of purchase for a refund. Opened or used products cannot be returned.

8. Results

Hair results vary based on your hair's history, condition, and home care. Photos on our website and social media show past work and are not a guarantee of identical results.

9. Communications

When you book, you agree to receive appointment confirmations and reminders by text or email. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.

10. Photos

We may take before-and-after photos of your hair for our portfolio and social media. We'll always ask first, and you can say no without affecting your service.

11. Website Use

The content on this website, including photos, text, and logos, belongs to Privato Hair Studio and may not be copied or used without permission. We do our best to keep the information here accurate and up to date, but we can't guarantee that it is always complete or current.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Privato Hair Studio is not liable for reactions or results caused by information you didn't disclose, by not following aftercare instructions, or by products or services from other providers.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
